Yes. Allow them after the trial not before or during. The world can wait a bit for it's salacious tittle tattle, let justice be done! Or a half decent stab at it anyway....
JK2006 Watching the coverage of the Lucy Letby trial I’m struck by how the media actively assists convictions. We do not need to know she went Salsa Dancing after trying to kill a baby but it’s a great media story so the CPS, ably assisted by police and media, make sure it’s covered in every news outlet. The opposite story “I didn’t do it” is never carried. I have no idea whether she’s innocent or guilty but shouldn’t a Judge ban such stories?
