veritas I really enjoyed Pier's book on his life in the tabloid world. He explains a lot about how guilty he felt at times about some of the outrageous stories he ran while editor and how he understood how ordinary members of the public must feel crucified when faced by a tabloid newspaper story..

I guess he was being genuine.
What?! Principles?

This is the guy who faked pictures of our soldiers torturing Iraqi soldiers just to sell papers, everyone seems to have forgotten that.

I
Mart Oddly enough, I saw an earlier tv programme about Donny only this Sunday.
A couple of minor changes in past history were of note.
With Piers, it was explained that Andy Williams` father found them at Disney.
In the former documentary, it was stated by Donny that they did not actually work for Disney but busked outside and everybody thought they were employed by them(not apparently) and Andy Williams saw them, history beckoned.

Details of the Donny and Marie show and the Osmonds lost millions were different too. I learnt on Sunday that the family had lost money in the show, this did not appear to be the case last night.

Piers was excellent, and "that" look he brought out of the star over one simple question was great TV interviewing.
Mike Willis Yes I have found Piers to be a much better person since leaving the tabloid world. Been very impressed with his shows and at least he has principles.

His appearances on Question Time have been superb to say the least. He was the only one to blast the decision to make Tony Blair the peace envoy in the Middle East when all the MP's refused to do so.
JK2006 Yes indeed - a very nice guy. So is Piers actually (we worked together on Bizarre for years).
