Is there going to be enough for more housing stock?
You can't build on any land; otherwise there going to be more flooding. Then more displacements will follow a lot of new houses are riddled with problems. |

Isn't it obvious? What am I missing?
Because if they did that the pretence of decency would oblige them to put people in genuine need at the front of the queue, and they don't want those people, they only want young strong men (as almost slaves) and they are here to benefit US not THEM. The whole thing is repulsive. |

I wonder if the media don't wish to pull back the curtain because the game would be up and the media would lose power. How many times can utter political cynicism be the story, rather than what the issue is presented as being about?
The latter has an infinity of potential plot lines, villains and hero's. The former, limited repeat utility. |

Yes I realise that but surely media, only looking for a good story, can spot this and reveal it, making the Government look even more stupid, even to the racists? A great way to speed up the process without killing or criminalising people. Far more efficient. |

As with Covid and lockdowns they are not actually trying to address the issue one way or another. They are playing at politics.
The more they fail the nastier the policies will get. Because they think this reflects what the majority want, as defined for them by the majority of media. It makes total sense. If you are a limited human being trying to prolong your career in a shallow society. |
