Wyot He has really hit a nerve Linekar. Fascinating to watch.

Tory supporters keep having to revert to straw-man tactics by saying he compared the current Gov to Nazis (he didn't, he compared the language to 1930s Germany). Or pointing out the ethnic name up of the cabinet, as if he had said something like "only white people can be Nazis". Absolutely desperate stuff.

This has hit a nerve because everyone knows what he actually said is true; and deep down everyone is uncomfortable with it.

Apart from real "Nazis".
Alonzo Patterson This happens so frequently now with people like Lineker and Neville commenting on many non-sporting subjects.

Both very decent footballers (and reasonable commentators) - but TV contracts don't include the right to say anything about everything.

Neville has gone public about local planning permissions - and Lineker has decided his sporting acumen extends to political observations about Natzi's.

Highly indicative of how those on one media assuming that their opinions are vaguely relevant in a different one!
