hedda Gambling? Australia has more poker machines and casinos than anywhere on earth and make Las Vegas look like a suburban pub.

in fact Oz provides LV with it's poker machines.

I visited James Packer's Melbourne casino a year ago..glitz upon glitz upon glitz and Nobu ($500 a head) as the local eatery

That was me JK, you know I live in and travel to Shire counties.

I am no city slicker or dweller.

Green Man My partner enjoys bingo once a week but she only takes £10 with her out and if she wins something she walks out. I do the Grand National once a year and that is that until next April. Fruit machines only pay out if there is enough in there enough inside even then it's very little.

I went to Vegas in 2012, some bloke lost $100 in 5 mins and didn't butt an eyelid. Yes Las Vegas is expensive but $100 could pay for a meal, cheap seat at a concert or even outdoor activity.

Compare house to a casino.
Wyot While I am sure bookmakers could and should do more to assist punters getting into obvious financial problems , wouldn't it be refreshing if the people spending all their families money on gambling actually also took some personal responsibility?

Just one little bloody iota of RESPONSIBILITY. For what THEY are doing.
