Wyot Social media pulsing with vaccine conspiracy loons today, alive at the news that the WHO has revised advice and says youngsters don't need the vaccine:

edition.cnn.com/2023/03/29/health/who-up...-intl-hnk/index.html

Those who believe Bill Gates is in cohoots with WHO etc al to dose us up with micro chips, don't read this and think: Oh, you know, perhaps I was wrong because if there is a conspiracy involving the WHO why would they change position in this way? That wouldn't make sense, would it?

No, they read this and think: Aha! See! They were lying to us all the time...

And so the non-reasoning goes on.

Why? Because they want to believe there are conspiracies and they have special knowledge. It makes them feel more in control.

Conspiracy theories are about emotional need.
