I read recently that they can predict your psychological profile (by your clicks) with astonishing accuracy. Down to your religious beliefs, books or music you would like, sexuality (and no not just from obvious searches!). It is impossible to function in the world now and not be subject to this. But it is as directive as it is a passive collection of data: they are constantly trying to nudge you into more clicking, ceaselessly. For ad revenue.

There is little point engaging in the notion of a Liberal democracy when it is now largely illusory.

People are addicted to getting their information from giant tech companies (employing hundreds of psychologists paid to manipulate how the human brain works to keep us clicking) and have lost the space and quiet to contemplate and think for themselves.

Their phones deliberately feed them endless follow up clicks or videos that just confirm existing preferences and bias. Making them incrementally more emotive and incendiary and socially divisive.

Politicians know all this and adapt accordingly; hence the rotten stagnant stench of our current "politics". The psychologists help the media (or more accurately advertising companies) direct "democracies" now by directing us. No one is immune.

Happy Easter everyone!

Green Man Majority of people can see through the bullshit that the main parties speak.

I do hear about the Reform Party, however I rather walk in the woods than walk to the polling station and tick a X on a piece of paper. Then go to a strangers hand to be counted or destroyed.

Reform Party looks like a paid opposition party.
JK2006 Tories should take out an ad saying "perhaps the reason why so many innocent people are in prison is because Stupid Starmer, as Director of Public Prosecutions, decreed police and CPS should tell false accusers "You will be believed even if you are lying". DOH!!!!
