Green Man If tenants are not happy why do they stay? It's your flat or house, you don't even own a single brick. If the landlord did changes the tenants expect to pay higher rent.

Own nothing but you will be happy.

Green Man I think it's landlords who are fed up with sub-lettings and treating the properties as doss houses. Tenant's need to know its not their property.

I wouldnt have a problem sending photo ID or details of employment. However the upfront fees can be daylight robbery.

If housing is a free market it is a free market. If it is not let's be open about it and stop the wealthy investing in multiple properties to let.
