Jo Whenever I've tried Thai food, I haven't liked it that much as it often seems to contain lemon grass, which tastes to me as I imagine lemon-scented cleaning fluid would taste. The other herb I don't like is dill, which I gather the Scandinavians often use.
Wyot Unusually I have somehow missed it all for the first time in years!
JK2006 I really think I would have given ALL THREE the prize.
JK2006 I love Omar's idea of beef with cherries. I shall try that.
JK2006 I really loved all three finalists this year - all came across as great people; every one had a dish or two I thought WOW (how about Omar's Onion Soup??? Genius). I've never before had a year where all my picks went all the way. But in the end - my Thai cuisine adoration is SOOO strong.
