I didn`t realise until today that the Ant and Dec farce was involving the Wurzels meeting their producer on the programme.
Absolutely wonderful!
What next? Macca meets his greatest fan George Martin?

You want to see really television trickery? Watch this and see if you spot that the shots of Maui are actually done from a helicopter.
So? It's a great effect and a piece of obvious, tongue in cheek trickery.
Truly trying to fool viewers? Ripping off punters? Bollocks!!

Indeed Mike - even in those early days I was troubled when executives started seeing it was a way of gaining income instead of my reason - getting public input and improving programme quality by interaction.
Early on they started trying to bend it and warp it.
By Year Three of the Record of the Year I was intending to find a better way - then I got arrested (enabling executives to commit far more crimes than the ones I didn't commit!).
Oh the Ripple effect!

After the latest farce on Ant and Dec's Sat Night Takeaway, isn't it time to scrap phone voting and think of something new to do?
JK started it well over 10 years ago, surely time for a change.
I suspect Phone Voting has always been a bit dodgy and with this latest revelation, surely people will not be stupid as to continue ringing in with answers to questions. That way they will have to think of something new.
