JK2006 When Carl Davis (her husband) died I wrote here about how I first met him when he was doing the music for 40 Years On in the West End in the 1960s. But I also knew Carla Lane (there was a time when I wanted to write scripts and she was very helpful; in return I put her in touch with Paul and Linda McCartney and she became very close to Linda).
