Because sleeping tablets impair the breathing.

Ah. Now I have slept through last night I can see the problem! Thank goodness I am not a politician making policy and a virtue of 3 hours sleep...

If it feels no worse than a cold, it's probably not Covid. Personal experience talking 🤔

Positive test Laura - all anyone has been able to go on. I think people's experiences vary widely. I am fortunate compared to many, I realise.

I have Covid. My symptoms are fairly mild. I am off work on my second duvet day, but overall it feels no worse than a cold.

However, I have bad insomnia, which I never normally suffer. My brain just won't get to the "sleep point". I am getting between 2-3 hrs a night.

50% of people report this. But if chronic sleep deprivation means your body is impaired fighting infection, why did they not just recommend sleeping tablets back when Covid was a thing?
