Wyot * hordes *

(Before I am denounced by my online editor JK...!)
Wyot I think he is right to draw attention to anti semitism, even if the media is inflating it, as it inflates everything . Just as the Palestinian people should be separated from the horrors committed by Hamas, so Jews should be distinguished from the horrors committed by the Israeli Government.

In this binary-thinking world if you express concern for the people of either "side" - who surely despise the mobs ruling them as much as we do - you will be denounced though.

Mr Fry surely knows this; so should be commended for his bravery in willingly calling on the howling hard left hoards...
hedda whilst Fry has every right to denounce antisemitism I have not read of wide spread incidents in the UK.

I read one report of a Jewish gent being attacked but it wasn't clear if it was a mugging and he just happened to be Jewish..

While Fry joins luvies Badiel, Rachel "I don't look Jewish" Riley and Eddie Marsan on their pro-Israel stance (do they agree with the US Congress vote that criticism of Israel is antisemitic?) over 1000 lefty luvies including names as big as Fry's etc signed a letter condemning Israel decimation of Gaza but it got no traction in the media.

Fry say's nasty things were said about Jews in the recent pro-Palestinian marches and my (Jewish) nurse pal who attended confirms but says it was a tiny minority compared to the 10,000s marching and that organizers had no power to shut them up.

I'm still in fear of what may happen here in Bondi with it's large obvious Jewish community, schools and Synagogues once Summer really hits and there is a large influx of ethnic Muslim and Arabs on weekends. There's been one minor incident so far.
