The media and family, blame a speedboat from the 80's was one of the causes of the death.
Another old BBC report states the boat hit a submerged log and flipped it over. To me that warrants a tragic death. I doubt he tried to do a Dukes of Hazzard stunt
Jack Shepherd shouldn't of done a runner though, he could be a narcissist but hopefully it's just an ego.
Ego's can be worked on, narcissists can't, as it's in their DNA.

Boy shows off to girl to try and get laid.
Surely she is partly responsible too? Getting in a speedboat with someone who has been drinking at 10pm. Interesting how - for a "good story" - adult women can often be depicted as helpless children... |

Does anyone else believe it was a tragic accident?
Jack Shepard, is a wannabe playboy, but he is no fool, to make a fortune at a young age by making money from online I think it was advertising (correct me, if I am wrong). He is no doubt egotistical fool or maybe even a narcissist, these sad souls are born with these traits.
If, Charlotte Brown, took over the wheel of the boat, with no experience of a boat, remember it was dark, and I assume tipsy and high on adrenaline. Sounds like an accident waiting to happen.
A young lad showing off is nothing new but can be fatal but accidental deaths do happen.
