The 1940s ongoing Los Angeles killer-smogs were/are caused by a large number of oil-burning automobiles, ships, and aircraft belching carbon into the low lying coastal region.
The 1956 UK 'Clean Air Act' stopped coal-burning domestic and industrial fires and furnaces causing excess carbon mixed with natural fog making 'smog' killing many thousands.
Nearing 3-centuries of coal and gas burning human industrial revolution since the mid-1700s. Has slowly caused a global excess of airborne carbon particles too much to dissipate and increasingly overheated by the Sun raising temperatures Worldwide. Making exposed mountains glaciers, and polar regions melting ice at ever faster rates, with ski resorts closing, icebergs drifting, sea levels rising, rainfall increasing, and rivers flooding.
Younger kids than Greta know such Grade School science. Quote, "Mommy, when Archimedes put his BIG rubber dick, er, duck in his bath the displaced water flowed over the top." |

Is anyone surprised? Our planet is changing, despite everyone now driving electric cars. That stupid Greta girl seems to have had no impact at all. Why would she have? 99% of climate change is Mother Nature, the sun, the universe. "The underlying cause" say the experts, is fossil fuels. Rubbish. |
