The "dirty phone call" where Glitter talks of a "threesome" was actually a screen test for a scripted film, and this context is even made clear in the documentary/video, something of a James Bond spoof, where Glitter then fights three enermy spies who come to caputure him when he hangs up the reciever.
This "outrage" is on a par with the 2001 release of his final studio album "On." Itself indeed now a collectors item too, copies selling recently for £130.
I think the master tapes of that album are with a staunch Glitter fan think they are with Gary Glitter the old fan club team. I have seen Remember Me This Way it seemed to be on the late night TV a lot from memory.
When GG dies there is going to be die hard fans trading online big bucks. The media have started it when they report highest bids for his memorabilia. |

WHSmiths pull the GG DVD from their site. The DVD has been out for years, I am not a fan of cancel culture. All The Mirror has done now is promote a DVD that will be deleted then it becomes a collectors item, there is a market for rare DVDs and VHS tapes.
If Youtube do pull Remember Me This Way, they will get divert more online traffic to dodgy torrent sites. The Mirror should of kept quiet and I bet GG does not get a penny from any of the DVD sales any way.

It appeared that he didn't make any efforts to attend any programmes in prison to address his sexual urges. He could have just gone along with what was required, he didn't have to believe in it. With regards to any risk, he hasn't committed any offences in the uk since 1998 when he got caught looking at dodgy pictures. The conviction from 2015 dated back to the 70s and the conviction in Vietnam has to be taken with a pinch of salt. |

Interviews are so different now to the "old days". So often now it is just about the interviewer. Watch old Parkinson - or our host actually on Ent USA - the interviews are actually about the person being interviewed.
Although there is a lot of interesting stuff online/You Tube to access. But that tends to be more niche interviews/events with writers, artists, historians or scientists. |
