JK2006 From early on my favourites were Hermione and Nevile. Isn't JK Rowling fantastic? I love her Strike books too. From the first few words of the first Potter book I thought - this person is up there with Stephen King, John Le Carre, Graham Greene and others.
JK2006 Watching Deathly Hallows 2 for the dozenth time; I became a fan of the books in the Nineties when I read a glowing review in a tiny publication, Bought the first book and loved it. JK Rowling is a far, far better writer than given credit. The messages in the books are far more important than they may superficially appear.
