Cress Wilberforce Though played in every country and watched by billions, the game has had a few major hiccups recently. Mainly relating to the Financial Fair Play regulations; the other - VAR.

Many club own a number of teams (with billionaires in the mix) in different countries, making financial monitoring virtually impossible.

And technology has been incapable of implementing VAR - even with large teams of personnel and cameras. The offside decisions made by the system have been clearly inaccurate, almost every week.
