Nothing startedon 7th October; it was part (vile, inexcusable) of a continuum of hatred and ignorance on both sides. Which should be equally condemned.
Why do the majority simply have to have a side? Everyone who takes a side is part of the fucking problem, whether running a terrorist group or murderous State or posting on social media. |

What's the "excuse" for Hamas murders of innocent Israeli citizens just going about their peaceful daily activities on a Saturday morning then?
Is this any different to the RAF blitzing Dresden in February 1945 killing thousands of innocent civilians in the process and the firestorms that unleased, or of course President Truman dropping two atomic bombs on Japan in August 1945 in order to force the end of WW2 as fast as possible to save more lives long term. Just like Germany, Hamas have reaped the whirlwind they created.
On the basis of this argument British Prime Minister Winston Churchill and American President Harry S.Truman are also murderers and war criminals too are they not? |

Those criticising Israel do tend to forget that Hamas would willingly kill every single Israeli jew (and any Jews anywhere probably) if they had the capacity.
Hamas is a hideous medieval death cult. Hell of a thing to live next door to. Hamas actively wants to wipe out Israel and Israeli's, Israel wants security. There is a qualitative difference between Hamas and the Israeli nation which gets lost because of the latter's superior capacity to kill.
I just don't think they will get it by wholesale violence intended to remove Hamas. They will just create more recruits to Hamas; or whatever replaces it. They are also being stupid by alienating support by the terrible slaughter of innocents.
Israel had a choice; and they made the wrong and stupid one. |

Watching many excuses by those who support Israel's murders in Gaza, most justify their behaviour by using the October 7th Hamas lunacy. An eye for an eye - or ten times as many. Fair enough, if that is the morality they believe in. |
