JK2006 Thank you Andrew. So my copyright of the adaptation is indeed the current one for this tune and I shall demand royalties every time it is played or sung at sports events and carried on TV.

JK2006 I think you'll find the composer of the original melody is out of copyright and was by 1972 when I copyrighted this version.
