Robbiex I hope they win 4-0 and czechia lose, meaning Croatia can go through and we can see Modric one more time. They deserve it. Being in a group with spain and Italy is much harder than being with Slovenia, Serbia, and Denmark.
JK2006 Let's please see a brilliant game so as not to fight Germany next round but also to show we have a few great players who don't always pass behind to the opposing team. BBC News nervously just described England's effort against Denmark as "possibly below par". It was AWFUL. AWFUL. Mind you so was Italy's game against Croatia until the very end (whereas Croatia were pretty good). I'm with Lineker and Shearer (who is great - like McEnroe at Wimbledon). This game should be England at their best. Whether they win or lose the contest (my hope is that they lose in the final to Belgium) this will be the game I shall watch to see whether we can play the game.
