Yes, we had a trade deal but we bound to EU laws. The idea of Brexit was to trade globally and control our own borders...the globalists and MP's threw all that out the window.
So we are agreed that Brexit has had a negative impact on the UK. Trade is down within and outside the EU, we are all worse off.
Some of us said this was perfectly predictable before the vote and not because "globalist and MPs" would deliberately sabotage Brexit.
Why does there have to always be a conspiracy GM? 🤔
Elsewhere on this site "Ben" has criticised JK for still talking about the stupidity of Brexit 8 years after the vote. But the effects and lies of Brexit are very much alive today.
The only boring spin on Brexit, for me, is Brexiteers explaining away the failure of their pet project not on the decision itself but on vague nefarious forces acting against them.
They should man up and own their failed thinking. |

Again the UK public voted to leave not have deals. The establishment fucked up Brexit on purpose and they hope the UK will rejoin the EU under a new name. It's going to happen.
What the public voted to have no further trade with European countries? You have to have a deal, a framework, to trade. Or travel between countries.
We had one; it was called The European Union, which we left. Of course something similar would replace it.
WTF did anyone voting for Brexit expect to happen? A return to a localised pre global economy?
And they call the pro-EU side idealistic!

re Brexit deal: Boris Johnson negotiated a Brexit withdrawal deal after the referendum.
His deal was useless. Jeremy Corbyn wanted to negotiate a better deal but was scuppered by the (ghastly" Keir Starmer who deliberately used Brexit to scupper Corbyn's and Labour's election campaign.
