Al Gershwin In full swing now - anything to keep the right-wing RN party (winners of a third of the overall vote recently) out of power.

The left-wing alliance (NFP) are withdrawing candidates who are expected to finish third, in the next round - to help non-RN parties.

Macronists in the centre are floundering. Like Ireland - where the biggest party, Sinn Fein are regularly thwarted by alliances.
