robbiex Sadly it isn't proportional representation. Team GB are now 7th behind the Nederlands.
JK2006 And in overall medals GB is third to USA and China - incredible.
JK2006 I know Paris so well that I recognise virtually every cobblestone on TV (even Versailles which I also love and which featured in my novel Thomas Love Peacock Luv Tom).

Yes, I love watching the marathons, particularly in beautiful cities like Paris, it works as a travelogue and a sporting event. Hassam's achievement is amazing after having already won 2 bronzes in the 5,000m and 10,000m less than 48 hours ago. The Nederlands are now on a par with team gb on Gold medals at 14.
