There weren't many men either clamouring for that opportunity Robbie - they had no choice.
Equal opportunities is not the same as saying men and women are Equal. If men and women were Equal (in the mathematical sense so many invoke to deride female emancipation) then there would be only one word to categorise human beings, not two.

The best episode in some time - telling the story of the appalling Japanese behaviour in WWII. In Nazi camps the death rate was 4%. In the Japanese ones 25%. Amazing. |

I adored This Is England years ago, loved Vicky who remains hugely attractive. Thought Thomas Turgoose was brilliant in it. Vicky went on to be superb in Line of Duty. Now Who Do You Think... still gorgeous. |
