This shouldn't be news to anyone who in 2020 was even slightly informed about existing national debt and had the imagination to realise that the consequences of locking down would not just be terrible financially , but also take, over the years, a dreadful human toll.
But of course that wasn't allowed to be discussed at the time. Let alone factored into decision making. |

One of the main causes of the current dire state of public finances was the pointless lockdowns you supported.
How many more lives will be lost in the end to the panic rather than the virus, I wonder.
