Wyot I'm so tired of Starmer's labour party already. I was never a fan and certainly (like most) didn't vote for them, but tried to give them the benefit of the doubt.

But they seem to have no vision or values do they? They just sway in the media wind. "Led" by their morose Cromwellian leader. I prefer the hapless Tories to this...
JK2006 I seem to remember a Chancellor (Tory?) inheriting a "black hole" a few years ago - didn't they quote it? Now we get every Labour person going on and on about the black hole. We don't care about past mistakes or brilliance. Get on and govern; stop making excuses as to why you can't. It comes from the top, of course. Starmer believes in saying whatever the punters and the media praise and like. It was always that. Pretend to be tough on perverts (punters LOVE that) and watch it turn around into "why didn't the DPP know?". Allow those who examine cases to decide on prosecutions (and then claim you knew nothing about it when it turns pear shaped). They all say it. Very few do it.
