The Brosnan and Craig ones bored me to the point where I dozed off watching them. Craig always looked as though he had a large walnut up his arse.
For all the hype they get, these movies are just not that well-made, and rarely bother the judges of critical awards. It's high time they toned down the hysteria they whip up and concentrate on drawing people in with a story that's actually absorbing. Did they actually kill Bond in the last one (I didn't see it)? That's crazy. And now they're trying to figure out how to 'un-kill' him? Doesn't anyone think this stuff through?
In my view they should go back to Fleming's original novels and film one of them as a period piece - it would force them to cut down on the gadgets and silly locations and concentrate more on character. |

Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan were my favourites too, precisely because the films with them were more light-hearted. I also prefer the older Bond films to the newer ones, which have too much rushing around for my liking and I'm not keen on computer-generated special effects, which often look fake. |

Elon Musk comes across as a real life perfect Bond villain.
My favourite Bonds were Pierce Brosnan and Roger Moore. |

I also liked Roger Moore as I was a fan of The Saint.
I thought George Lazenby, Timothy Dalton, Pierce Brosnan were ok, I too was never attracted to Daniel Craig in the role.
They moved the movies into a darker more sinister world and some of the charm left the show.
Nevertheless I still love a good James Bond movie.
As well as a Revvolution movie I must say.. |

Dalton looked like Bond on a lot of covers of the old Bond novels. He should have done more.
Neil Dickson would have made a good Bond but I think Biggles was a bit of a flop despite being very corny it is very watchable. The movie was a bit of a poison chalice, neither of the cast went on to bigger stuff apart from voiceovers and Peter Cushion was on his last legs.
Marcus Gilbert would have made a good Bond villain, he was good in Rambo 3. |
