Topic History of: Buying 'Em Off! Max. showing the last 5 posts - (Last post first)

Wealthy people tend to pay off blackmailers, false accusers, corrupt lawyers - even cops. Prompted to this comment by the death of Quincy Jones whose most famous artiste was Michael Jackson, famous for buying off false accusers. As did Prince Andrew. As will Harrods and the Al Fayad estate. Much better to do after death of course - which is why I suggest everyone with any money, due to leave it to wives, husbands, children, friends, must put a clause in their will - NEVER, after death, pay off false accusers or their enablers. Any money not protected should be used to fight claims until the cash runs out (as happened with Jimmy Savile). NEVER buy criminals off. Not one penny! I do hope Alex Salmond thought of this and changed his will before biting the bullet.
Of course most sensible rich people have already avoided inheritance tax by creating trusts and off shore ways of protecting their families. I bet the Al Fayad family will never pay a penny to the hoards of false accusers inspired by the publicity. And it does look as though the Michael Jackson liars are getting nowhere (neither are the No Win No Fee lawyers). Weinstein? Cosby? Spacey? The madness continues - and will go on and on as long as it's a GREAT story! Never forget the Post Office. |
