Titanicboy Used to get them at Leigh Cockle Sheds (near Southend) but I’m not sure that the Privatisation Pollution in the Thames estuary hasn’t killed them off. Also not sure how many, if any, sheds still exist. Shame as they were a massive part of seaside Sunday life. And we used to scoop them up by the million in the 60s in shrimping nets on the south coast but they have definitely gone now, too.
