hedda Hard to know if he will do everything he has claimed or just coast along. After all at his age the future is limited.

Lots of interviews on YT with MAGAs saying they hope he gets rid of "Obamacare" but keeps the Affordable Care Act which they are on not realizing they are one and the same thing.
Wyot The concern for me with Trump is what he represents and that people are still prepared to cast a vote for him.

It raises bigger questions for humanity and where it is heading than whether the war in Ukraine stops, before another one starts somewhere else, perhaps started by Trump.

Apart from being a nasty vulgarian he makes a virtue out of lying and dividing humanity. Out of hatred.

This isn't a subjective opinion or media spin, it is replete in his every utterance.

I don't do his supporters the disrespect of assuming them stupid. They know what he is doing and they like it. They want more of it. They mistake weakness for strength. And he will be copy-catted. And soon absolutely everything will be zero sum arguments, us and them, love or hate.

Trump is the antithesis of what humanity so badly needs right now: wisdom and love.

(This does not mean I think what the world needs is Joe Biden upping the ante with his stupid missiles either....)

Thankyou, I appreciate that.

Rich Like me DSC you have realised that Trump isn't anywhere near as bad as you first thought, inspite of all his faults. Sometimes you just have to accept someone is alright even with their shortcomings. You just have to look past the big charismatic personality and his own way with words and drill down a bit deeper. I think many people have had this realisation in the USA and that's why the democrats got stuffed and don't understand why. Don't believe those who tell you that the vast majority of the UK is against Trump, I don't believe it. All you ever heard in the media and online about our Boris was negative and against him yet he won a landslide here.

Even those who detest Trump on the furthest left must still surely admire the nature of his political achievements which are stunning when you look back to 2015 and early 2016 and see people laughing about his chances to even get through those first primaries, and totally dismiss any chance he had of that first 2016 Republican nomination. Yet here he now is, stood in three straight elections and won two of them, this year's one convincingly. I didn't look forward to January 20th 2017 but I'm looking forward to January 20th 2025 enormously.
