History is re-written by the victors and this is a perfect example.
No sane person could possibly see Jan 6th as anything other than what is was..a dreadful and frightening deathly riot encouraged by Trump.
I think he said after saying he will release all the convicted rioters that it may be a case by case matter.
Probably most convicted will have already served their sentences but of course they can be pardoned. |

This is all so yesterday's news now. Really it is.
In 2016 Trump seemed quite a misfit for President, not the part at all. I was aghast at it. 8 years later I'm struck by just how natural and comfortable he now looks as the incoming President again and looks the part without question. I look forward to it. He has faults, so what, some are quite big, yes. But who wants an endless succession of generic cowardly leaders cut from exactly the same moth eaten cloth. Those types have driven the UK into the position it is in now. |
