JK2006 And today on the new Parkinson (Clive Anderson, awful, Jane Horrocks said she was in a play until March 22nd to which he asked "when does it finish?") - the reviewer raved about every minute of Nicholas Nickleby on stage - all non stop 7 hours of it (and every minute a joy).

Just a footnote - as everyone watching the great TV film of the 1982 production will confirm - David Threlfall was magnificent as Smike
JK2006 And as luck would have it, on BBC4 tonight Saturday they are reshowing the wonderful Trevor Nunn theatre version of Nicholas Nickleby from the 80's which I went to several times and thought it was one of the great theatre experiences.

You win some, you lose some Trevor.
