Downing Street Cat You could ask Fry to start posting here JK? That would be terrific.
JK2006 The last 50 pages of the novel are as great as anything in the three part Wolf Hall series. But the TV shows do Hilary proud. How many Awards must Rylance win? I cherish the day when, after dinner with Stephen Fry when he'd just been with Rylance in Twelfth Night, he revealed to me confidentially that Mark would be Cromwell and I exploded in delight, predicting he'd be perfect. He was.
JK2006 The third of the wonderful Wolf Hall novels (I complained to Hilary Mantel, at a stage show we were queuing up to enter, to get a move on for Part Three) is actually the least good of the three (too long) but a terrific, sensational TV show and Mark Rylance is magnificent in it as Cromwell.
