Yes the age varies all over the States with some in the South very low. 18 seems almost a trap for many men and the fact they call those in NY busted under 18 at 17, "pedos" is ridiculous. The word pedophile has been co-opted by fanatics and the media to attack anyone where the "victim" may be say a year under age is wrong. I see in the current case here in Sydney with my hapless former radio star foe that he was charged by the "child abuse squad" with police stating the usual "victims" while forgetting the word "alleged" when the claimants are all grown men except one at 17..while the legal age is 16 is NSW. Needless to say the police corruption in press conferences etc will ensure the case is kicked into 2026.
