JK2006 I've decided my favourite (which I've just finished) is the wonderful ANIMAL'S PEOPLE by Indra Sinha... I fell completely in love with Animal, a complex, bitter, crippled, twisted victim of corporate pollution in India.

A truly wonderful novel; hugely recommended.

But I qualify that by the fact that I haven't yet read the winner (I'm planning that for the holiday season).
