Green Man Maybe because the Republican Party is filled with Neo-cons and Rinos.
Rich I agree Hedda it is odd.

There is a massive contradiction at the heart of Donald Trump isn't there. On the one hand he's called out as a thin skinned hyper sensitive man baby yet on the other he seems remarkably able to turn a blind eye to some quite strong or offensive criticism of him. Perhaps he views politics as theatre while backstage he's the ultimate pragmatist.

It was actually a very smart move by Starmer congratulating Trump on Gaza ceasefire.

Really? which "cease fire" is that?

The killing goes on and on.

Now Trump demands other countries absorb a million Palestinians.

That is the definition of genocide and anyone foolish to believe it would be temporary is nuts.

Starmer is just a gutless quizling. Trump has shown time and time again he cannot be trusted.
I know Hedda, but sometimes appeasing an ego can have beneficial results. If Starmer had upset him the only result would have probably been more aggressive tactics.

nearly everyone Trump has hired has said terrible things about him.

He just had a formal meeting with the Oz Ambassador former PM Kevin Rudd who said terrible things about him and Trump also gave insults back but all went well.

Likewise David Lammy..

most odd..
Rich Starmer won't be able to keep it up for 4 years!

Neither will Trump.
