hedda I wasn't a huge fan of the show but will watch the next series.

One Ten Pound Pom is however under attack locally.

Former PM Tony Abbott who emigrated when he was about 10.

Tony is very right wing (I think he's currently an advisor to the UK Tories) is again under attack for supporting his great pal, the late Cardinal Pell.

This is after 2 men came forward recently with brief details that Pell had accused them at a Parish Pell worked at. Scant details, never spoke up during the endless and daily local Pell controversy but they won substantial compensation.

Tony Abbott;s crime: he wert bravely (I thought) to visit Pell while he was in jail.

The howls of outrage continue to this day.
