Downing Street Cat Always surprised there was never an ET 2. Been sequels of nearly every blockbuster I can think of. Most 2's are dreadful as they rarely have the same production values of the first film. Jaws 2 wasn't bad to be fair. Exorcist 2 was diabolical. Godfather 2 was good. But mostly I don't appreciate franchises. LOTR are overly long and you really to do have to be in the mood, likewise the novels. Never been a Star Wars fan, and was never ever that keen on Indiana Jones-essentially Bond without the charm and with a whip. Superman 2 was excellent to be fair. It was actually better than 1.Still perplexed as to why they haven't done a big production of Dr Who. The Cushing films were lame.
