Oh it's easy to do Cat. I was convinced of Lucy Letby's guilt by media coverage until a friend pointed out certain aspects. You and I don't really care about Swift or Trump or any other celebrity, tending simply to accept the media stories. We have neither the time nor the inclination to bother examining such trivial things as why someone got booed. I bet 99% of those falling for the simple line on this never watched the Superbowl - or any American Football.
I remember one time in prison a national carried a story about me being beaten up in jail and moved to another prison - totally untrue, as everyone in the place knew. One friend said to me "I never believe anything in the media anyway" and I replied "so you don't believe Dudley Moore died yesterday" (a news story that day). "Oh, that's different".
Re Letby. Oh so was I. Until I read the experts analysis of the key evidence. Shocking. Really does make me wonder just how many innocent people are rotting in prison. |

I had a chat about the legacy media and media the distraction last night. The news rarely get celebrity gossip and sports wrong on broadcast and print media.
Political news is very one sided and biased if you counterargue or against their narrative you are a "Conspiracy theorist" or a "Right wing loon".
People with TDS never realise how absurd they sound at times and just believe any hit piece that spews from the talking heads on TV. When I told my American friend that podcast's are the new talk radio and chat shows. He said they are propaganda. I responded what's legacy media then? He changed the subject then closed the Zoom chat. He had no answer. I told him TV is pretty much over but he is denial on the fact the world is changing.
Before he closed Zoom he said podcast's are like 1930s Nazi Germany. He is very left and makes Hedda a right wing loon.
He bought me a Gillian Island box set, I saw nothing but propaganda in it and the casual racism is worse in sitcom's like Mind Your Language and Love Thy Neighbour. Has both sitcom's laugh at the racist's. I told him that when he asked if I liked it, he said it's only a bit of fun. Yet, he found Steptoe racist.
I found it quite troublesome, even the left are racist in America. Americans only get puns jokes they don't understand irony. It's like Alf Garnett we laughed at him not with him, same with Eddie Booth. Eddie Booth was a bumbling buffoon. |

Morons believe stupid media pushing the political story. In fact many more Eagles fans boo-ed someone linked to Chiefs. Simples. Humanity has swallowed the stupid pill.
