Downing Street Cat Love your reviews JK. Your recent impression of Renée Zellweger's squinting was a joy to behold. And you thought it had gone unnoticed.
JK2006 It would be TOO odd if the Oscars next Sunday co-incided with a Conclave in Rome and the film won the top prize.
JK2006 Thoroughly recommended. Will it win Best Oscar? Doubt it but it is very, very good.
JK2006 I decided to see Conclave for a second time as it has won the Best Film BAFTA, as the Pope remains in hospital and because first time in Marrakech it was very dark on screen. It is indeed quite dark (visually) but I thought it, again, terrific, especially Fiennes and Tucci (he's brilliant in it). Certainly should win Best Plot if there is such a thing.
