JK2006 Due to a combination of strange sleep patterns and always dozing off during Midsomer Murders (neither my Mum nor myself ever managed to watch an entire episode), I woke in time to catch my favourite Anne Rice's superb vampire chronicles book Queen of the Damned made into a film; I missed it when it was released in 2002 due to occupation of a small suite in Her Majesty's estate.

It was indescribeably awful.

Like a really bad 90's video, the rock music stank (Jonathan Davis should be ashamed... wasn't he in the sublime Journey?), the acting was shit, the script ghastly, the effects terrible and Aaliyah, just before actually dying, showed she could not act (though she did have a fabulous body).

What a disaster.
