Come to think of it the current one doesn't say much. Have they fallen asleep?
Yes agree JK but..only oNE we have and all that! (did Churchill say that ?)
If the Opposition Leader is ineffective then it may exaggerate their flaws.
Of course for the past 4 years the US has had a very unique situation in it's long history.
It has had a Leader of The Opposition who has been very effective: D.Trump
Here in Oz we always have one and in so many cases they can win an election with their oratory and presentation of policy.
Fortunately the current one who spent NYE partying at Mar a Lago with Oz's richest person Gina Rinehart..both adoring fans of Trump, now is the subject of a possible insider trading scandal so we may avoid him at a general election due within 4 months. |

A bit like the UK.
First Past The Post, is a retarded concept.
My local MP is just another Invisible Man. All if I do it's another "There's nothing I can do". |

Ah you know my thoughts on Democracy Hedda - it no longer works in this media world. |

It has no Leader of The Opposition.
Just members of the opposition party who can never carry the weight of a leader speaking out.
The US is a flawed democracy. |
