Downing Street Cat 24 years. I am sure they hope that people either give up or die.
JK2006 My application to the CCRC for the Court of Appeal to consider my wrongful conviction in 2001 is proceeding slowly. I have requested that they speed it up, since the Malkinson decision which decided that two areas almost identical to mine (Police Failure to Disclose vital evidence to the defence and the Court) meant the CCRC should have referred his appeal years earlier.
SPECIFICALLY mine applies to an interview by my main false accuser CHRIS SEALEY (who bravely waived his right to anonymity in return for large media cheques) some years before my arrest and trial - with the NEWS OF THE WORLD newspaper (remember them?) asking for, and being rejected, £250,000.
His story then was totally different to his police and court claims in 2000/2001.
This is so obviously a case of REAL POSSIBILTY that the jury would have acquitted me, had they seen it, that it appears certain the CCRC WILL refer my wrongful conviction to the Court of Appeal (24 years later than it should have been).
I have asked them to speed up their reference, please.
