Cannot believe a Labour government is targeting the disabled and mentally ill.
You judge people by how they treat the most vulnerable in our society. It sickens me how these people are always on the kicking end of the nation's problems whilst those who cream in vast wealth are overlooked.
Agree Rich.
While these PIP payments and other benefits I am sure need looking at and we should be careful with public money, you don't start with the vulnerable in a humane society. And ignore other ways to generate revenue because you are too cowardly and self-serving to take on the ultra wealthy.
This is another symptom of the death of democracy: that a Labour party takes this approach highlights the lack of any real choice anymore.
BARNEY: hard decisions may need to be made but don't assume they are the onlyones that could be made.
The hard decision would be to take on seats of power and money, not start with the people in society we should have the most compassion for.
Starmer is taking easy decisions; not hard ones. |

Hard decisions need to be made - and are being. You got a solution, Cat?
Starmer (an educated man) had the guts to say STOP, although he'd little choice.
Most of the billions of debt were caused by some magical virus and the government and opposition pressured Boris to flatten the curve on a sheet of paper. |
