Al Gershwin My last post on this! Subject to JK permission - GM is right on many aspects, but the success of JDW is simply explained.

A guy attracted investors with a new concept for an old industry - the British pub; that's difficult with major players in already.

Like breweries, hedge funds and haters/snobs. Sadly (in Epsom, just for example) - it's hard to eat, or sit/so busy! They seem to tick a few boxes, for an hour!
