Al Gershwin Interesting and different. I'd no idea that our witness protection system had about 3,000 people in it - for a wide variety of reasons.

And - though handled by the police - it's kept completely outside the normal force, with a remit to remain completely secret and segregated.

With safe houses - and alternative sets of rules and modus operandi - the system's existence is kept off radar: I look forward to the next series of this well made program.
JK2006 I've enjoyed this ITV series - enough to have watched the whole thing. Yes critics have commented she's totally useless as a cop (when she says I PROMISE YOU you know trouble is coming) but it's a good watch.
