Suspected.
It's like the old fashioned sweet shops, they are expensive, have names like Mr Smith Sweet on the front, no customers and the bloke serving behind has a name like Abdul or Ahmed. A lot of the brands of fizzy drinks they sell, I remember from places like Latvia and and South Africa.
To smuggle Hedda, the staff at the docks have to be in it meaning that take bribes.
The government and council know they are shop fronts but they know, these dodgy guys buy brand new cars with dirty money, so they paying VAT to some degree.
In Andover there are about 10 Turkish barbers, some are legit but some quiet are as a church mouse. I suppose there are only so many mullets you can cut these days. |

I'm perplexed how barber shops could be fronts for crime..must read the article.
What is it about vapes and cigarettes though? Melbourne has gangland wars over illegal and legal cigarettes with shops being firebombed almost as soon as they open.
I still can't work out how illegal cigarettes can be smuggled in..difficult things to conceal. |

Not surprised, i've heard about these pop-up shops.
Police have raided barbers and vape shops in Shrewsbury suspected being front for crime gangs
and money laundering and illegal immigration.
