Downing Street Cat Space or deep ocean. That Titanic submersible that suffered the implosion put me off that too. Not that I have the ready cash for such things. lol. And it will be 40 years next year since the Challenger space shuttle disaster. Where did that time go? There's still more chance of being killed in a car. Little comfort in that as your ears pop 5 miles up or down. lol.
Jo You wouldn't get me into one of those either. One of Musks rockets exploded only recently. Just imagine the fuss if one blew up carrying celebrities (celebrities!)!
hedda Call me a coward but I'd never go on a rocket into space.

I think looking back on Earth would just make me realize how small it really is and very vulnerable.

That's apart from the fact these rockets blow up all the time.

I recall the actor William Shatner who also went into space saying that it made him feel very vulnerable and insignificant.

Yet the astronauts all seem to fair well especially the ones who went to the Moon. Some even found God !
