Downing Street Cat Not seen any of the MI films but not a massive Cruise fan. The only film of his I liked was Born on the Fourth of July. Even Rain Man I wasn't struck on. Never seen the Top Gun films either.
robbiex I watched this last night, not by choice. It was two hours 20 mins of boredom, an incomprehensible plot, and fifty minutes of spectacular action scenes. The bi-plane scene looked spectacular, although ridiculous and totally far fetched. It also featured two of my least favourite actors: Simon Pegg and Tom Cruise. Looking forward to the new Wes Anderson film "The Phonecian" next week as the cinemas have been full of dross for the last couple of months.
JK2006 One of the silliest films I've ever seen; no sensible plot; terrible script (any film that says "threatening World War Three" is a no-no) but splendid action and effects; thoroughly enjoyable rot but too long.
